  • Buttons: The Notion template "Product Personas" is a succinct and efficient one that includes two crucial entries: "Product Persona" and "Empathy Map." With the help of user-centric insights, enhance your product development by using it to build user profiles and visualize user emotions.

Product Persona

  • Button: The “New Product Persona” button will be used to add a new entry. A popup window will open at the center of the screen to add personal details.
  • Persona Name: Give your persona a memorable name for easy reference at the top.
  • Picture: Upload a picture of a person or some event to remember the context.
  • Occupation: Sort the persons on the basis of their occupation. It will ease the filtration of persons specifically.
  • Type: Select the contact type, whether the contact is primary or secondary.
  • Status: The status of the Customer shows, whether the customer is a new, existing, or potential customer.
  • Demographics: Include information such as age, gender, location, job title, and any other relevant details.
  • Goals: Define what this persona aims to achieve by using your product.
  • Challenges: Identify the obstacles, pain points, or problems they encounter in their journey.
  • Motivations: Explore what drives and motivates them to seek out your product.
  • Behavior Patterns: Understand how they typically interact with your product or similar offerings.

Creating a Product Persona helps your team develop a more targeted and user-focused product, as it ensures that everyone involved understands and empathizes with the specific needs and preferences of your target audience.

An Empathy Map is a visual tool that helps you develop a deeper understanding of your users' thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It encourages empathy within your team by allowing you to step into the shoes of your users. Here are the primary sections of an Empathy Map:

  • Does: Describe the actions and behaviors your users exhibit when interacting with your product or in their daily lives.

Completing an Empathy Map helps your team gain a holistic view of your users, making it easier to design products and experiences that resonate on an emotional level. It's a valuable tool for enhancing user empathy and driving user-centric design decisions.
