Investment Tracker Template

Anyone who wants to monitor their investment portfolio—which includes stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and more—should use this template. This template can assist you in staying on top of your investments and making wise decisions, regardless of your level of experience.

Portfolio:

  • The Portfolio database is one you already have; it's the database that contains the livestock prices.
  • Now that it's linked to the Investments database, you can use rollups to retrieve the total profit/loss, the number of shares for each stock, and the total portfolio value.
  • You can also make use of linked databases to have a separate view of livestock prices.

Accounts:

  • If you have multiple accounts or not, I recommend building an accounts database. In addition, tracking investments for each account can help aggregate all the data into one unique place.
  • You'll be able to see your total balance and total profit/loss for all of your stocks. Additionally, it will help you access your portfolio percentage in the portfolio database.

People:

  • Add details of the persons relevant to your investments

Summary:

  • This table is linked with the Accounts, Stocks, and Transactions table to summarize all the investment outcomes in one block.
  • Select details from other tables for a specific stock to check it summarize view. All the other properties are formulated with these selected properties and calculated final values.

Transactions:

  • This table stores all your transactions whether you have purchased or sold stocks, shares, or any other thing.
  • This table is linked with the account and investment table, select these 2 properties and fill property's Quantity and Unit Price. All other formulated properties auto-populated.
