Home Page

  1. Button: The “New Task” button will be used to add a new task to the template. A popup window will appear at the center of the screen with the following Properties.
  2. Title/Task Heading: The title will help us to find our task easily as it will be prominent in the matrix. This title will be a task pending on our end.
  3. Type/Urgency/Importance: The type of the task sets the priority of the task, whether it is more important or least important. The urgency of tasks will be set by the type of task. There are 4 options already available which can be modified or added more options.
  4. Due Date/Deadline: The due date works as a reminder for the tasks. The date is linked with the property below “Days Left”.
  5. Days Left: It is linked with the due date and reminds us how many days are left to meet the deadline.
  6. Notes: Make notes about the tasks to understand them later.
  7. Calendar View: Calendar view is useful to filter tasks on the basis of days, weeks, or months.
  8. Completed Tasks view: There is a check box property named “Done” on the detailed page of the task entry, the completed task view is linked with that property. If done is marked true then the task will move from the “Board” view to the “Completed Task” view.
  9. History view: This view has all the tasks from all views together in one table. It is filtered on the basis of the year.
