Habit Tracker Template

You can easily create and monitor your daily habits with this habit tracker, which will help you stay on track and accomplish your goals. This habit tracker will assist you in creating new habits and breaking old ones, whether your goals are to read more books, work out more, or just drink more water.

Tutorial

  • To add your habit names, simply click on 'Habit 1,' for example, and then click 'Rename.' Next, add your own habit names. Repeat the same process for the buttons: click on the gear icon beside each button and change the name of 'Habit 1' on the button to match the first habit.  
  • Every day, a new empty Habit list will appear on the calendar. Click the button corresponding to each habit when you complete that habit, and it will automatically add a checkmark to today's date.

Habit Tracker

1. My Routine:

Purpose: The "My Routine" section provides a structured space to plan and track your daily routines, divided into Morning, Afternoon, and Evening activities.

Components:

Morning Routine: List the activities you want to include in your morning routine, such as meditation, exercise, or breakfast.

Afternoon Routine: Similarly, outline the activities for your afternoon routine, which might include work-related tasks, lunch, or short breaks.

Evening Routine: Specify the activities you want to include in your evening routine, like winding down, reading, or reflecting on the day.


Motivation List:

Purpose:

The "Motivation List" is a collection of motivational quotes, affirmations, or images that inspire and uplift you.

Include a list of your favorite quotes or affirmations that resonate with you and help boost your motivation.

Quick Notes:

Purpose:

The "Quick Notes" section is a versatile space where you can jot down thoughts, ideas, or tasks on the go.

Provide an area for quickly typing a List of notes without the need for a specific structure.

Daily Habits

1. Today View:

The "Today View" gives you a snapshot of your daily habits for the current day.

Day: Displays the day of the week (e.g., Monday, Tuesday).

Date: Indicates the current date.

Running: A column to track whether you completed your running habit for the day. This could be a checkbox.

Read: Similar to the "Running" column, this column tracks the completion of your reading habit.

Exercise: Tracks completion of your exercise routine for the day.

Gardening: Indicates whether you've completed your gardening tasks for the day.

Weekly View:

The "Weekly View" provides an overview of your habits for the entire week.

Day: Displays the days of the week (e.g., Monday, Tuesday).

Date: Indicates the date for each day of the week.

Running (Weekly Total): A column showing the cumulative total of running habits for the week.

Read (Weekly Total): Cumulative total of reading habits for the week.

Exercise (Weekly Total): Cumulative total of exercise habits for the week.

Gardening (Weekly Total): Cumulative total of gardening habits for the week.

Calendar View:

The "Calendar View" provides a visual representation of your habits across the entire month.

Month: Displays the month you're currently viewing.

Day: Shows each day of the month.

Running (Daily Completion): Indicates whether you completed your running habit each day. This can be color-coded or marked with symbols.

Read (Daily Completion): Daily completion status for reading.

Exercise (Daily Completion): Daily completion status for exercise.

Gardening (Daily Completion): Daily completion status for gardening.

Stats

The "Stats of Habits Tracker" section in your Notion template is designed to provide a summarized overview of your habit completion statistics on a weekly and monthly basis. Let's break down the key components and how you can calculate percentages based on the entries in the columns:

Weekly Stats:

Date: Indicates the specific date for each entry.

Day: Displays the day of the week corresponding to each date.

Exercise, Gardening, Playing, Read, Running, Cycling: Each of these columns represents a specific habit, and entries can be checkbox-based (for a simple completion check).

Progress: This column can calculate the percentage completion for the week based on the total number of habits and the number completed.

Calculation Example: If you have a weekly goal of running 5 times, and you've run 3 times in a week, the "Progress" column would show 60% (3/5 * 100).


Monthly Stats:

Month: Indicates the specific month.

Day: Displays the day of the month corresponding to each entry.

Exercise, Gardening, Playing, Read, Running, Cycling: Similar to the weekly stats, these columns represent specific habits, and entries can be checkbox-based.

Progress: This column calculates the percentage completion for the month based on the total number of habits and the number completed.

Calculation Example: If your monthly goal for reading is 20 times, and you've read 15 times in a month, the "Progress" column would show 75% (15/20 * 100).


Yearly Stats:

Month: Indicates the specific month.

Day: Displays the day of the month corresponding to each entry.

Exercise, Gardening, Playing, Read, Running, Cycling: Similar to weekly and monthly stats, these columns represent the specific habits, and entries can be numerical or checkbox-based.

Progress: This column calculates the percentage completion for the year based on the total number of habits and the number completed.


Reflection Section:

The "Reflection" section in your Notion template is a valuable space for self-assessment and analysis. It allows you to introspect on various aspects of your habits, routines, or any other areas of interest. The primary purpose is to identify what has been successful, what hasn't, and how you can make positive changes moving forward.

What Worked:

In this section, you note down aspects, habits, or strategies that have been successful or effective. These could be things that contributed positively to your goals or brought about positive changes in your life.

What Didn't Work:

Here, you document elements or practices that didn't yield the desired results or may have hindered your progress. This helps you recognize patterns that may need adjustment or elimination.

What I Can Change:

This section is dedicated to brainstorming actionable changes you can implement based on your reflections. It encourages a forward-looking mindset, focusing on improvement and growth.

Report

The "Report Section" in your Notion template is a centralized area located on the left side of the template where you can view and analyze monthly data and statistics related to various habits. This section provides a condensed and visual representation of your habits' performance over time.

These columns represent the different habits you're tracking, each with a corresponding entry for each month. The entries can be numerical (representing the number of times you engaged in the habit) or checkbox-based (indicating completion).

Habits Completion Rate: This is a calculated column that presents the overall completion rate for all habits combined. It could be represented as a percentage and calculated based on the total number of habits and the number completed.
